The Markibar Izaga Key
The Izaga Key is the only grinder I recommend to customers because it ticks more boxes than any other grinder on the market.
I try and find equipment that helps my customers be more productive, lest wasteful while producing a quality, consistent product. My thinking is that if I can help you be more successful that will help my business too.
The biggest advantage of this grinder is it's superior workflow, with having the next coffee ready to go, your barista is wasting no time at the grinder, pushing buttons and waiting for coffee.
They just put the portafilter into the grinder and the next shot is dropped straight into it, then the grinder starts grinding for the next one.
The Izaga Key comes in a Black/Grey option or White.
They retail for $3,435+gst, but when bought with a coffee machine they are discounted to by 10% to $3,091.50+gst
The 10% discount also applies if bought directly after having a demo grinder trial.
The Markibar Izaga GBW
The Izaga Grind By Weight (GBW) is an advance on the Izaga Key as it has a built in scale that will weigh the coffee to an accuracy of 0.2gr +/- you target weight. So instead of setting your grind time, you set the desired weight, say 21gr, the only adjustment you make is the grind setting to increase of decrease the extraction speed. This takes another variable (consistent weight) out of the equation for your barista to deal with.
It has all the other benefits of the Key model (reduced wastage, fast workflow, high quality extraction with uniformed grind)
The Izaga GBW also comes in a Black/Grey option or White.
They retail for $4,435+gst, but when bought with a coffee machine they are discounted to $3,991.50+gst.
